Tbilisi State Medical University
Tbilisi State Medical University (TSMU) is a leading medical university in Tbilisi, Georgia. More than 85 years have passed since Tbilisi State Medical Institute was founded o based on the faculty of Medicine at Tbilisi State University. In 1992 Tbilisi State Medical Institute was renamed Medical University.
TSMU is the eighth-ranked (out of 55) higher-education institution in Georgia. There are almost 7500 undergraduate and 3000 postgraduate students at the University about 25% of whom come from foreign countries. Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University
Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University is a public research university established on 8 February 1918 in Tbilisi, Georgia. Excluding academies and theological seminaries, which have intermittently functioned in Georgia for centuries, TSU is the oldest university in Georgia and the Caucasus region.
The total enrollment is over 23,500 students, and there are 5,000 faculty and staff members (collaborators) overall. According to the U.S. News & World Report university rankings, TSU is ranked 398th in the world, tied with the University of Warsaw.


University Of Georgia
The University of Georgia (UG) is a private university founded in 2004 in Tbilisi, in the country of Georgia. From 2005 through 2007 the university developed and grew significantly. Masters programs were added to the Bachelors Programs during these years. By 2007 the university had already received its first Ph.D. program students. In 2010, for the first time in the post-Soviet era, the United States Agency OPIC (Overseas Private Investment Corporation) invested multimillion dollars in the development of the university's infrastructure.
The university cooperates with the European and US leading universities and offers exchange programs at various European universities for one semester or a year. Thus the university has exchange programs within the individual cooperation, Erasmus Plus.
